Delivering cost efficiency with self-cleaning, clog-resistant designs
Chemical throttle valves (CTVs) regulate the flow of chemicals—scale, wax, and corrosion inhibitors, for example—delivered to subsea production systems. Their functions are diverse, from flow control to metering and highly accurate dosing.
CTVs effectively eliminate the need for topside injection and dedicated umbilical lines. This enables the design and deployment of more efficient umbilicals, saving operators valuable expenditure and delivering benefits when considering umbilical transport, manufacturing, and installation.
Available in flow configurations to meet varied demands, our CTVs have provided the market with a superior, self-cleaning and clog-resistant design for more than 20 years.
1995: Our first CTV was installed on the seabed
Today: More than 1,100 CTVs installed worldwide
Operating in harsh subsea environments
Our CTVs are suitable for use in harsh subsea environments, and are designed to meet pressure requirements up to 15,000 psi (1,035 bar) and working depths of 11,900 ft (3,630 m).
- No moving parts during operation
- Smallest and lightest design available on the market
- Contamination tolerant, no filter required
- Self-cleaning design
